Is Australia a Goshen?

People used to think of Australia as a relatively safe place to invest. No longer. Melbourne was the most locked down city in the world during the pandemic. During that time the government of Victoria rammed through many pieces of legislation that didn’t have the interest of the residents in mind.

They’ve banned gas from all new homes. The goal is to hook everyone up to the electric grid. You are not allowed to be independent.

Rich parents may send their children to go study abroad in Australia for experience, but to invest in a country heading in a totalitarian direction? Not the wisest choice.

Look at two more pieces of evidence:

As of July 1st, 2025, politicians want to find you $1600 for road rule infractions. There is a legitimate debate whether road rules are valid laws at all. But that’s besides the point because most people will suffer the fines and pay.

Now Victoria police wants to be able to login to your home security camera. The American founding fathers would be rolling in their graves. They were wise and thought far less onerous rules and incisiveness were signs of intolerable tyranny. They could not stand the oppression.

Australia is a beautiful country. It’s a shame it seems to be mismanaged by Marxist politicians and green fanatics. For people looking for freedom and safety, Australia is not a Goshen.
